Refractory Coating Recipe
Refractory Coating is composed of refractory aggregates, binding agent and coating additive. The refractory aggregates such as fine aggregate and powder, or powder and super fine aggregate, or powder and nanophase materials, which have specific properties. The coating additive can be dispersing agent, plasticizer, anti-sedimentation agent, shrink-resist agent, sintering agent and so on. With the different of refractory coating functions, the constituent materials will be different.
Refractory thermal insulation coating is mainly used for the refractory lining surface as the insulation layer. Its service temperature is over 1100℃.
Refractory thermal insulation coating is manufactured with the main materials of powder, bubble ball, fused alumina bubble ball, fly ash floating beads, alumino-silicate fiber blanket, mullite fiber blanket, and polycrystal fiber blanket. The powder is composed of lightweight calcined fireclay, lightweight high alumina clinker, lightweight mullite clinker and lightweight aluminium oxide clinker. The available binding agent includes ethyl silicate hydrolysate, solubility sodium silicate, silicon dioxide solution, superphosphate and aluminum sulfate aqueous solution. The available curing agent includes zinc oxide, silicofluoride, condensed phosphate and borate.
Refractory thermal insulation coating can be used in the high temperature furnace for resisting abrasion and erosion.
Alkali-resisting Refractory Coating
Alkali-resisting Refractory Coating is made of alkali resisting refractory powder, binding agent and coating additive. It has the property of resisting the erosion from alkalis vapor.
The adoptable alkali resisting refractory powder includes flint clay, bauxite chamotte, alumina-chrome slag, zirconite and chromium corundum. The adoptable binding agent includes calcium aluminate cement and sodium silicate. The adoptable coating additive includes dispersing agent, citric acid, anti-sedimentation agent and sintering agent.
Alkali-resisting refractory coating is mainly used for the flue lining and industry furnace lining with the feature of erosion and deposition from alkali vapor.
Acid Resistant Refractory Coating
Acid Resistant Refractory Coating is mixed and made of acid and semi-acid refractory powder, binding agent and coating admixture. During construction, add some refractory glass fiber or alumina-silicate refractory fiber in the coating in order to prevent cracking. The available binding agent for acid refractory coating includes sodium silicate, silica sol and aluminium acid phosphat.
Acid resistant refractory coating is mainly used for the flue lining and furnace lining surface with the erosion condition from acid gaseous medium.
